Getting Around Kromhouthal

By Shuttle Bus

Shuttle bus to and from Kromhouthal from preferred hotels:

On Wednesday and Thursday morning between 8:00 and 9:30 shuttle busses will drive constantly between Jakarta hotel-Mövenpick hotel-Double Tree by Hilton hotel to Kromhouthal.

Bus Stop:

Entrance of the hotels.

From Kromhouthal there will be a shuttle bus leaving every 30 min (on the hour and half hour) between 9:30 and 19:00.

Bus Stop:

Located at the back of the Kromhouthal conference entrance (close to where you enter the terrain)

All shuttles will show the event logo on their dashboard.

By Car

Use the following address for navigation: Gedempt Hamerkanaal 96, Amsterdam.
Please note: this isn’t the address of the Kromhouthal. The Kromhouthal is right across this address.

Via IJtunnel

Via IJtunnel: take the first exit after leaving the IJtunnel and get in the left-hand lane at the traffic lights. Take the second exit at the roundabout to go to the Johan van Hasseltweg. Take the second exit on the right to go to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the end. The Kromhouthal can be found at the left side.

Via ring A10

Take exit s116. Then take the first exit Noord 300-349. Go left at the traffic lights. Take the second exit at the roundabout to go to the Johan van Hasseltweg. Take the second exit on the right to go to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the end. The Kromhouthal can be found at the left side.

From Schiphol Airport

From Schiphol Airport, take the A4 to Utrecht/Haarlem/Amsterdam. Follow this road to the A10. At the A10, take exit s116 to the centre. After 600m, turn left to the Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg/N247. Take the exit Noord 300-349. Follow the road and after 300m, turn left to the Johan van Hasseltweg/ss18. Turn right after 650m to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. The Kromhouthal can be found on the left side.

Parking

The Kromhouthal has 80 private parking, spots right in front of the door. These spots are during our event reserved for our VIP visitors.

In addition, there’s ample public parking in the vicinity. But, the DRAKA parking area is these days specially reserved for our visitors. (20 – 21 March). The DRAKA area is located 5 minutes away the Kromhouthal.

The parking ticket costs € 10 for a full day of parking. Payment is preferably done digitally with payment card.

By Uber

Uber works perfectly in Amsterdam. You can download the app via App Store or Google Play.

By Taxi

Certified taxis have:

  • blue number plates
  • a light on the roof with the company name and taxi number
  • a taximeter
  • a visible taxi permit of the driver.
  • You should be given a printed receipt after your taxi journey. Keep the receipt, as it states all information about the taxi, the driver and your journey.
  • You will find certified taxis at the official taxi stands (taxi ranks) throughout the city.

Costs

The price of a taxi journey consists of a starting rate, a price per kilometer driven, and a price per minute.

By Public Transport

By metro

With metro 52 you arrive within fifteen minutes from Amsterdam South to the new Station Noorderpark. You can also take this metro from Central Station. The metro line runs 10 times every hour. When you exit the metro at Noorderpark station, you follow the Johan van Hasseltweg. At the roundabout, take the second exit on the right to go straight on to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. At the end of this road you will find De Kromhouthal.

By boat

There are free ferries to North Amsterdam departing from Central station. Take the most eastern ferry to IJplein to get as close to the Kromhouthal as possible. The ferry goes four times per hour and eight times during rush hour. After departing the ferry, follow the bike path to the right and turn right after supermarket Dirk van den Broek.
